Resign Secretary Rumsfeld

How many more scandals, how much more incompetence must we see from the Department of Defense before Donald Rumsfeld is fired? From the lack of planning in Iraq, to troops not having armor, to Abu Ghraib, and now the Marine massacre and coverup there's been nothing but failure at the Pentagon under this Secretary.

The evidence is overwhelming: Donald Rumsfeld is incompetent. He has administered there during failure after failure. I seriously doubt it's the fault of our professional military leadership. These decisions have come from a Department micro-managed by the current leadership.

Since it's clear President Bush is tolerating this massive failure of leadership it is up to Rumsfeld to do the right thing: RESIGN. Now.

The failure of accountability must end.
