Democracy for America is conducting a poll to determine which candidate they should provide special emphasis for next. The online poll lists quite a few nationwide candidates and one of my favorite people in the world, Lois Herr (PA-16) is one of those listed. Please go vote for Lois.
I worked for Lois in 2004. We got to know each other on the Howard Dean presidential campaign. She is a treasured friend and I really, really want to see her beat Joe Pitts in Lancaster, Berks, and Chester counties. Lois is a true progressive (ignore those wacked out press releases you see from John Murphy) and supports all the important issues: the war, women's rights, health care, fiscal responsibility, etc.
She'd be a breath of fresh air in Washington and would replace someone who is as extreme as it gets.
