NSA Wiretapping Unconstitutional

The defendants "are permanently enjoined from directly or indirectly utilizing the Terrorist Surveillance Program (TSP) in any way, including, but not limited to, conducting warrantless wiretaps of telephone and Internet communications, in contravention of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act and Title III," she wrote.


With those words a Federal Judge in Michigan has struck down George Bush's abuse of power. Judge Anna Diggs Taylor determined this in a suit brought by the American Civil Liberties Association. The fact the President violated the law may now be grounds for impeachment. The decision also says:

"violates the separation of powers doctrine, the Administrative Procedures Act, the First and Fourth amendments to the United States Constitution, the FISA and Title III."

I believe this substantiates all the discussion about this by those of us dedicated to upholding the constitution versus those who refer to us as "anti-American bloggers."
