PA-13 CD Reality Hits Raj

Raj Bhakta, running in the 13th Congressional District against incumbent Allyson Schwartz is reverting back to his reality television experience by creating a documentary film about his failed campaign. Tune in folks and see how not to run a campaign. Even Canada.com is reporting on the phenomenon of the former Apprentice's attempt to unseat a very popular lawmaker in suburban Philadelphia. Let's hope the filmmakers following Bhakta also do the driving for the candidate. A third DUI at this point might relegate him to single digits come November.

The Gettysburg College graduate made a name for himself on Donald Trump's show The Apprentice where Raj is mostly remembered for flirting with every pretty woman he met and even asked The Donald's receptionist for a date after he was fired. I remember thinking what an arsehole the guy was.

The 13th CD was in play for a few terms as it went back and forth between Republicans and Democrats. Lately it has been a firmly entrenched Democratic seat and appears to remain so for as long as Schwartz desires. The Raj is nothing more than a sacrificial lamb.
