PA-10 Carney Reports $295,000 Cash on Hand

Chris Carney for Congress has announced a surge in fundraising providing them with $295,000 cash on hand at the close of the second quarter. Carney is challenging incumbent Don Sherwood (R-Choke City) in the Tenth Congressional District. The campaign says:

“This huge surge in fundraising, from both Republican and Democratic sources, proves that the 10th District is ready for a Congressman who will represent our values and our interests in Washington,” said campaign Republican Co-Chair Susan S. Belin of Waverly, PA. “Don Sherwood has been an embarrassment to our District - Chris Carney will make us proud.”

If you recall Rep. Sherwood was accused of choking his D.C. mistress last year and then sued by her.
