They're All Crooks...

That's what my grandma used to say about politicians. Of course, we know that's not true...well at least not all the time. But sometimes politicians bend the rules a little and that's when the FBI and the NON-Activist Judges (insert superhero music here) rush to the rescue.

A federal judge upheld the FBI's unprecedented raid of a congressional
office, saying that barring searches of lawmakers' offices would turn Capitol
Hill into a "taxpayer-subsidized sanctuary for crime."

CONGRESS OVERRULED: Chief U.S. District Judge Thomas F. Hogan rejected
requests from lawmakers and Rep. William Jefferson to return material seized by
the FBI in a May search of Jefferson's office.
ONGOING PROBE: The overnight search was part of a 17-month bribery investigation of Jefferson, a Louisiana Democrat.

I hate to go after a Democrat but if they're crooked, git 'em. And Louisiana politics have a history of being a little crooked. I'm sure this is one case where the Bushies are supporting the judge. Notice how they're only "Activist" judges when they rule AGAINST what the Republicans think.
