Random Thoughts

It was a busy week-end with lots of events in between dealing with a cyberstalker. This man has been doing this for quite some time and I will with the situation today. Meanwhile please disregard his comments.

I was with some family out of town last evening and we were remembering our old favorite tv shows along with others we felt were very bad. Does anyone recall Casper the Friendly Ghost? What a vapid cartoon that one was! Then, the one of the worst sitcoms ever: Chico and the Man. That producer should have been arrested.

Also, using the comment section here for personal attacks of any sort will get you banned. If they continue your internet provider will be notified of the abuse. The conduct of a certain reader this weekend was atrocious and we know who it is. The person is affiliated with an organization which has been criticized on the blog and, because of that, legal action is being initiated. There was also other conduct done off the blog which crossed legal lines.

The Iraq War Foums held in Bethlehem, Philadelphia and Warrington were amazing. The venues were full of concerned citizens. I'd like to recognize the people responsible for putting them together: Jeanne and Mike Doyle, Kevin Shaw, and Marty Schor. So much was said I couldn't begin to relate all of it in yesterday's pieces. I'll include other tidbits as we write these issues going forward.

We're getting a new contributing writer to the blog. This is a gentleman who will need no introduction to Pennsylvania's progressive community. I'm proud to have worked for him and proud he has accepted my invitation to write for the blog.

Raj Bhakta, the obnoxious Apprentice wanna-be from television is still making scads of rookie mistakes. From neglecting to get Pennsylvania tags (they were from Colorado of all places) for his campaign bus to crashing church festivals to campaign, this guy has no sense of what's appropriate. It's pretty bad when a church calls for security to escort a Congressional candidate off the premises. Twice.
