Are You Outraged Yet?

I'm constantly amazed at how little outrage there is among Americans about what's going on in this country. What will it take to get people outraged at all this? I remember seeing a bumper sticker during the 2004 elections which said "If you aren't outraged you aren't paying attention." The mainstream media has used a lot of ink talking about the "angry left." You bet we're angry. We're angry about September 11th. We're angry at the erosion of our rights. We're angry about "free speech zones." We're angry about stolen elections and electronic voting machines designed for fraud, we're angry about being lied to about wmd's. We're angry about Halliburton and the no-bid contracts, about Dick Cheney's Halliburton stock options, about the culture of corruption in Washington and elsewhere.

This New York Times article explains how this culture of corruption is working in Washington. How a GOP Congressman from San Diego took $2.4 million in bribes before getting caught. If you still aren't outraged after reading this I can't comprehend if anything can outrage you.
