Swann Dives From Voters Wanting Autographs

What's a voter/fan to do? There's Hall of Fame receiver Lynn Swann in front of you asking for your vote on November 7th but he won't even sign your $100 event ticket? The infamously stingy autograph giver is showing his true colors on the campaign trail. A candidate who refuses to fulfill something as simple as an autograph isn't looked favorably upon by voters. Lynn Swann hates to give autographs. He sells them on his website so every free one he doles out diminishes the value of those he sells.

It's quite a fix he's in. I think he needs to decide which is more important to him: serving the voters and securing their votes, or further enriching himself through his self promotion business. You have to have ego to run for office, especially something statewide. It's tough work because this is a large state. It also has a lot of voters and a lot of Steelers fans. Swann must get their votes if he's to have any shot at all. His response to this dilemma will show how serious he is about being Governor.

If it's all about himself, his greed, and his selfishness he'll continue refusing autographs or giving watered down ones. If he isn't simply a sacrificial lamb to Ed Rendell's bandwagon he'll forget about his misgivings and provide signatures to one and all.

I think Swann's true color is green. It's all about further enriching himself by extending his celebrity.
