Congressional Candidate Arrested

John Murphy, an independent candidate for Congress in the 16th District, was arrested by Capitol Police for disorderly conduct. Known to be quite obnoxious, Murphy was helping review Carl Romanelli's petitions. He's known for his rambling, outrageous and misleading press releases and a passionate hatred of Democrats. Just recently he wrote an article for Aljazeera, the radical Islamic website and network.

A man was charged with disorderly conduct for allegedly using expletives and calling people "maggot" and "slimeball" while he was helping U.S. Senate candidate Carl Romanelli defend his nominating petitions.
