Pennsylvania Workers Losing Earning Power

The Central Penn Business Journal reports:

Last year, inflation-adjusted hourly wages for the middle earning bracket fell from $14.55 to $14.21.

On the other hand, statistics from the State of Working America report show that corporate profits in the United States increased by 13 percent last year.

This is the third consecutive year that real (inflation adjusted) wages fell for Pennsylvanians. Bush's trickle down economics aren't working any better than Reagan's did. Anyone who believes in voodoo economics is a fool. Add to this the steady increase in the number of Americans living in poverty since Bush took office and it's a national disgrace.
