Why the "Angry Left" is a Misnomer
Conservatives love referring to all of us opposing Bush and his failed Administration as the "angry left." As I've been pointing out it's not just the Left. It's an angry electorate. I'd love it if all the people in this poll were lefties but that just isn't so. Here's the key point:
Seventy six percent are angry. Either the Left now constitutes 76% of America or there are a lot more people angry than just us Lefties. Look at these statistics:
So 54% of respondents said things are going badly in the country. That's a clear majority and the trend is clear. This country is on the wrong track and Bush and Santorum want to "stay the course." Folks you don't "stay the course" when you're heading over a cliff.
...76 percent said there was "something" to be angry about in the country today. By comparison, 59 percent felt that way when polled in February.

Among this year's respondents, 29 percent said "pretty badly" and 25 percent -- up from 15 percent a month ago -- answered "very badly." By comparison, 37 percent described the way things are going as "fairly well," and 9 percent answered "very well."
