Santorum Admits Numerous Mistakes in Administration Policy
Our favorite whipping boy Tricky Ricky Santorum really put his foot in his mouth today. Trying to defend the indefensible: the complete politicization of 9/11, he attempted to defend the President's insensitive injection of politics in hi sspeech last evening. These are the Senator's words:
Let's take a look at what he said. First off he agrees George Bush has been incompetent. It's about time Rick. It's taken you long enough to figure out the policies you've steadfastly supported failed. Now, given that, why the heck can you expect anything else he does will be any different? Especially seeing as all the fools who created and managed those original failures remain in the jobs? Including you as head cheerleader.
Staying the course with no plan and not enough troops is NOT "getting it right." The only thing George Bush has "right" is his extreme ideology. It's time to scrap the ideology and awaken to reality.
"I believe the president, given all the mistakes that this administration has made in the conduct of this war — and they certainly are numerous — the president has it right," Santorum said. "This is the greatest threat for our generation, and I pray we have the courage to confront it."
