Greetings
Greetings Readers!
I've actually posted entries before this introduction but I wanted to say thanks to John for the invitation to join him in this blog.
John is very much into politics and the like. I'm more into other issues regarding Constitutionality, ethics, religion, rights issues and the like. Naturally, many times, these issues intersect with politics so you can get facts and commentary from John and the sarcastic, name calling activism from me.
I also tend to be a bit more ascerbic than our good host Mr. Morgan. John may be irreverant but he's also politically savvy...I just tend to shove my fist up peoples noses and wait for the reaction.
Like John I like to check my sources and be accurate but hey I'm human, so if I make a mistake, let me know. Unlike the ENTIRE Bush administration I'm big enough to stand up and say I screwed up.
Of course, many people wonder why I don't reveal my real name like John has. Well I'll tell you...it may be neccessary reveal facts about politicians that they'd rather not have known (yeah I'm sneaky that way...hey if you've got skeletons maybe politics wasn't the best decision you ever made alright!) Or, perhaps how I got a link to a particular website might not be totally above board and, frankly, I don't want my body found stuffed into a trashcan somewhere, or the IRS to suddenly audit my taxes back to the time I was a zygote, or to find that my identity has mysteriously been taken over by a Taliban leader somewhere in the Hindu Kush.
Hey, the government is spying on it's own citizens when they engage in their Constitutionally protected right to protest peacefully and you think crap like what I'm afraid of CAN'T happen? Wake up! Do you REALLY think Monica kept the stained dress "as a memento"?????? Where is she hiding the cigar is what I want to know?
Anyway, I look forward to writing at you, making you laugh, making you angry but most of all (hopefully) making you think and ask questions.
Government is participatory ladies and gents. Time to start participating!
