National HIV Testing Day

It seems with the advent of new drugs many people think HIV and AIDS is a managable disease. While its true that poeple are living longer. healthier lives, HIV is still communicable. It's estimated that up to 30% of people with the disease don't even know they have it.

Today AIDS is no longer a gay disease or a Haitian disease. The fastest growing segments are women, particularly African American women and Latino Women. Most new infections today are heterosexual.

If you don't know your HIV status for sure or if you are sexually active with multiple partners, PLEASE GET TESTED!
