Are Republicans on Crack?

I read an article this morning that says:

Right-wingers call Tuesday's defeat of a federal marriage amendment a
"successful failure"

If the measure failed, it's a failure it's not a success. Oh, it's a success because it identified who the voters should vote out of office. Well most of us educated voters already know who to vote out of office.

Bigots and hate-mongers should not be representing the people of this country. People who think that they have the right to tell others how to live and what to do and who to love should not be representing the people of THIS country. People who think that legislating their version of what is right or wrong it more important and tackling the real issues, should not be representing the citizens of THIS America.

These people want to turn America into a country that's spelled with a "k". If the Republicans and the right-wing church-mongers want THAT kind of country, then leave. Do what the Puritans did in England and get on a boat and leave and establish your own 'Amerika' somewhere else. But this America is about Freedom, something many people on the right seem to have forgotton about these days.
