Hypocrisy Personified: Jim Gerlach

Congressman Jim Gerlach had the gall to actually disseminate a press release today attacking his opponent for misusing direct mail. His FEC complaint says the Democratic State Committee sent thousands of pieces without disclosing whether or not the Murphy campaign authorized them. Tsk, tsk. That's absolute hypocrisy considering Gerlach's massive FEC violations. He overstated his money raised BY $2.2 MILLION last year. Now, that's a serious violation. Gerlach has been flooding mailboxes in Berks County with vicious, inaccurate and inflammatory lies about his opponent under the guise of the Republican State Committee for months. I had a lifelong Republican tell me how disgusted he was with them. He said he refuses to even look at them anymore and he'll never vote for Gerlach again.
