Santorum No Rocket Scientist

According to his Capital Hill colleagues Senator Rick Santorum is no rocket scientist. The Washingtonian conducted their annual survey and reported that Virginia'a third senator (and Pennsylvania's AWOL junior one) isn't considered a rocket scientist by his Senate fellows. He was tied with Patty Murray of Washington for this dubious honor.

Duke Cunningham and Katherine Harris were the leaders of this category on the House side. Cunningham resigned from Congress after pleading guilty to accepting $2.4 million in bribes. I suppose they thought he was stupid for getting caught. Harris, infamous for her 2000 Florida election irregularities was also named worst newcomer. No need to worry. The way her Senate campaign is going she won't be in DC much longer.
