Brunkhurst To Run as Democrat in 48th?

Bray Brunkhurst, who previously announced he would run for the 48th Senatorial District seat formerly held by Chip Brightbill announced he is switching to the Democrats. Instead of running on the Green Party ticket he has decided the Democrats are more to his liking. Does this mean he's still going to be a candidate? If so what does that mean for John Liss' campaign? Is Liss willing to step aside for Brunkhurst after being unwilling to do so for long time Democrats? That would be VERY interesting.

I also wonder what this says about the Green Party in Pennsylvania. Are they at all viable? They keep losing members. Important members as they debate whether to be a political party or an issues advocacy organization.
