G8 Reality Television

BBC writer Matt Frei did an amazing job summing up the G8 summit and George Bush's performance. He compared the event to reality television program Big Brother. Fraternity House TV might also have been a good comparison. This particular line caught my eye:

"The decider", as he recently referred to himself, will only inch towards
the altar of diplomacy with great reluctance.

The president takes the
diplomatic route when all others are closed.
