Vigil for Pittsburgh Mayor

A prayer vigil was held yesterday for cancer stricken Pittsburgh Mayor Bob O'Connor. The Mayor has been in a major health crisis since his diagnosis and the beloved leader was on everyone's minds at the service.

I haven't written about this because the bloggers around the 'Burgh have done such a great job covering it locally, especially 2politicaljunkies. All of Pennsylvania needs to rally around our fellow citizens in Pittsburgh and hope for the best for their Mayor. Here's one citizen's tribute:

"He's a poor man's mayor. He's the people's mayor. He walks around. He talks to everybody. He doesn't sit behind his desk and just throw orders around. He goes and does it himself," said Ms. Simek of Scott.
