Eighth District Congressional Debate Scheduled

The Upper Bucks Chamber of Commerce is proud to sponsor a debate for the Congressional 8th District seat featuring Congressman Michael Fitzpatrick, Republican, and Patrick Murphy, the Democratic challenger for Congress on Thursday, October 12, 2006, 7:00pm at the Palisades High School Auditorium, Church Hill Road, Kintnersville, PA 18930.

The general public is encouraged to attend this free event. The 8th district Congressional Race has been targeted by national campaigns as one of the top 15 races to watch in the nation.

Seating is on a first come first serve basis. Ample parking is available at the High School in the front parking lot and in the parking lot behind the high school by the tennis courts.

The Palisades High School Auditorium is handicapped accessible.

The Upper Bucks Chamber of Commerce hosted the first Congressional Debate in 2004 at the Quakertown High School, Quakertown and is looking forward to another sucessful and informative evening at Palisades High School.

The Upper Bucks Chamber of Commerce is the bridge between Business and Commerce in the twelve municipalities the comprise the Upper Bucks County Region and is celebrating over 50 years of service to these communities.
