George Allen Finally Apologizes

The other Senator from Virginia up for re-election this year finally apologized to SR Sidarth, the American of Indian heritage to whom he used a racial slur against recently. George Allen called the young man a "macaca" twice while "welcoming him to America and the real world of Virginia." It took quite a while and the implosion of his sizable lead to get the avowed racist to apologize. George Allen wore a confederate flag in his collar in his high school picture, kept a noose in his office and has prominently displayed the KKK rebel flag.

His staff actually retracted their apology to Sidarth and blamed the "liberal media" for Allen's remarks. Kind of like the old Flip Wilson tv show where he'd say "the devil made me do it." I find it difficult to believe Allen is sorry for anything than being stupid. He knew he was speaking into his opponent's video camera after all. Either he's too racist to be a Senator or too stupid.
